Camp PARC, located in central-western Pennsylvania, is an all-volunteer-powered nonprofit that provides an overnight summer camp and year-round recreational and social opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their neurotypical peers.
Built around one-to-one support between campers and volunteers, Camp PARC is a community where people show up for each other, share the camp experience, and create friendships that last far beyond the summer.
The flags have been folded, the decorations packed away, and Group Camp #8 is quiet once again. But after an incredible 67th season of Camp PARC, we have so much to celebrate!
This summer, our Camp PARC circle grew as we welcomed more campers and volunteers through four summer sessions, including two Adult Full-Length Sessions for the first time.
Together, we filled our days with games, music, dancing, a little history, laughter, campfires, hugs, plenty of red, white and blue, and all the traditions that make Camp PARC feel like home.
None of it would be possible without the incredible community that surrounds us. To our campers, staff, volunteers, families, caregivers, donors, sponsors and friends: thank you for being part of Camp PARC 2026 and for helping make our 67th summer one for the history books.
The bunks may be empty and the campfires out for now, but our Forever Friendships continue long after summer ends.
